Hard drive crash

July 24, 2010

As some of you know, we had a major hard drive crash that resulting in the loss of a number of orders and emails related to those orders. We have recovered what we could. Any of the orders that were over a couple weeks old have been cancelled. Your cards had never been charged.

We are now back on an even keel and moving forward with maintenence of the site.

Thank you for all of your loyalty and patience during this trying time. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Oops...

It would appear that the server troubles we had these past couple weeks have caused the loss of some data in the martial arts section of the site. The sizes and colors are no longer displaying. I'm working to correct this as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience. If you need something before this is straightened out, just send an email with the particulars of the item and I'll do my best to take care of that for you.

Shipping policy change

Because of the number of people who do not read the shipping policy and order things a week prior to needing them for some special occasion, effective immediately, all martial arts products will now be considered special order items and are subject to up to four week normal delivery time. If you can not deal with this, do not order the item.

I'm sorry to have to take this step. However, everything is slow right now. Everyone is tightening their belt and ordering less than they did a year or so ago. It takes more orders to make a minimum order from my suppliers, therefore, I do not order as often (daily) as I once did. So, if you plan to order something at 7pm on Thursday, don't be calling and emailing me wondering where it is by Tuesday. All this does is cause frustration for you and me both, and cost me additional time dealing with the repeat emails and phone messages, leaving less time to solve these issues.

The new items that will be showing up soon will be drop-ship items, and this special order status will not affect those items.

I'm sorry for the trouble this may cause to my loyal customers, but it is necessary in the current economic climate and with the nature of the few demanding and expectant 'customers' who order from this website.

Time to bring it out

Hi All,

Well, about a month ago we were ready to bring out the new storefront. Unfortunately, there are a few bugs keeping us from adding more items to the store. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as we can. I've decided to go ahead and bring the new store online even though many of the products are not loaded yet.

There will be some changing happening yet, but at least you will be able to order the latest uniforms for this coming demo season.

Brad
